Mul on see seikluse osade nummerdussüsteem juba mu enese jaoks ka totaalselt liiga keeruliseks läinud, aga okei, las olla. Igatahes, Eestitripi teine etapp nägi ette kolme päeva Tallinnat, pärast mida rentisime lennujaamast auto ning sõitsime Haapsalu ja Saaremaa poole (vahemärkusena pean mainima, et kolm päeva Tallinnas oli totaaaaaaalselt liiga palju). Ma jätan Haapsalu ja Saaremaa viimasesse ossa (sest ma olen laisk piltide sorteerija ja kesse ikka viitsib mingit 80 pilti järjest ühes postituses vaadata, olgem ausad). Teel Haapsallu aga põikasime läbi meie sinisest laguunist Rummu karjäärist, mis oli vapustavalt vaimustav ja need pildid ma poogin ka siia otsa Tallinna omadele lisaks.

Anyway, the second part of our Estonian trip consisted of three days in Tallinn - as a remark I must say that you totes don't need three days to see everything there is to see in Tallinn, we saw way more than the basics you definitely have to see and still had about one day too many - and then we rented a car and took off towards Haapsalu and the Saaremaa island. I will leave these two for the last post, otherwise there would be way too many pictures to sort through and I'm way too lazy for that, but we did stop by the Estonian "blue lagoon", Rummu quarry, which I've included in this post.

Pärast pargitiiru käisime kultuurikilomeetril ja võtsime ette ülimalt "positiivse" külastuse Patarei vanglasse.
After spending time in the pretty parks we took a very "positive" tour in an old sea fort-tuned prison-turned into a sort of museum in the abandoned parts of the prison
I should mention that this place was still operating as a prison in 2002....

Pärast vanglatuuri tundsime ennast kuidagi masenduna ja otsustasime sealt rannakohvikust endale sooja kakaod osta. Tüüp, kes leti taga töötas, loivas ennast vaikselt kohale, vaatas meile ähmaselt otsa ja küsis: "Kas te oma kakao sisse armastust ka tahate?" Me ei osanud selle peale nagu midagi kosta, mille peale ta noogutas ja ütles: "Ma panen teile armastust kakao sisse" ning hakkas siis, selg meie poole, midagi asjatama. Me sosistasime Teresaga omavahel, et huvitav MIDA ta nüüd täpsemalt sinna sisse pani. "Kui te seda nüüd joote, siis te tunnete armastust", kinntas tüüp veelkord ja hõljus järgmise kliendi juurde. Ma vannun, ma pole ELUS teist nii kivis inimest näinud :D
After the prison tour we were feeling sort of down for some reason, so we decided to get hot chocolate from the cafe behind the prison. I swear, I have never seen anyone so completely baked as the guy working there. "Do you want love in your hot chocolate?" he asked with a total Luna Lovegood look in his eyes. After that he turned his back to us as he prepared our drinks and we were really starting to wonder, WHAT exactly he was putting in our hot chocolate. "Now when you drink this you will feel loved," he said again as he was handing us our drinks.
Ma näen täiega imelik välja, aga kuna me elasime neli kuud ühes peeglis, siis see on kuidagi nii loomulik vaatepilt.

Teise päeva õhtul otsustasime minna õhupalliga lendama, ehkki vaatamata sellele, et maa peal oli täiesti tuulevaikne, ütlesid nad, et ei tea, kas nad tuule tõttu üldse lendama lähevadki. Mida ülespoole me jõudsime, seda rohkem me tegelikult selle trossi otsas edasi-tagasi kõikusime küll, nii et see värk on ilma suhtes üsna pirtsakas.
The second night we decided to go up on Tallinn's newest tourist attraction, which is a hot air balloon attached to the ground and takes you 120 meters high. Even though there was absolutely no wind on the ground, it did move from side to side quite a bit as we were going up. But it was awesome!

On the third day we stopped by the Estonian Open Air museum for a little history lesson
Siis saime Keiuga kokku ja käisime loomaaia kõrgseiklusrajal ronimas. Keiul oli aega ainult üheks rajaks, mina tegin suure vaevaga kaks ära ja otsustasin, et aitab mulle seiklustest küll, aga Teresa oli vapper ja tegi ühe raja veel otsa.
After the museum we met up with Keiu and went to an adventure park in Tallinn zoo. The park consists of four trails up in the trees with various levels of difficulty and each trail ends with zip lining. I only completed two trails and with shaking hands and feet decided that I had had enough adventures for one day, but Teresa was a brave unicorn and did one more trail. Since I wasn't climbing, at least I could take pictures.

After adventures we took a little stroll around the zoo and met another bunch of alpacas (and Teresa was holy)

Rummu karjäär oli minu jaoks tõeline elamus, sest ma olin selle ajani ainult ähmaselt selle olemasolust teadlik. Me sattusime sinna muidugi ideaalse ilmaga ka. Ja need "mäed" olid nagu reaalsed mäed - sinna otsa ronimine polnudki naljaasi, eriti kuna suhteliselt libe oli. Ilma kahe võõra tüübi tugevate käsivarrasteta ma vist küll muul moel sealt alla poleks saanud kui veeredes.
Rummu quarry, which used to be a mining site, is located next to the Rummu prison, which was a forced labor camp in the Soviet times. After the prison was closed down the mining site filled with water, so part of the prison is now actually underwater and you can go diving there inside some of the old prison buildings. It has also become quite a popular beach and it really does look like a blue lagoon! If you want to see a very dramatic drone video of it, you can click here.
We climbed up the "cliffs" and it was actually not easy, because it was really slippery. If we hadn't had help coming down, I would have had to roll myself down for sure.
